They apply to all visitors and users of the site, including individuals interested in job opportunities and parties seeking to acquire or transfer a medical practice.

The concrete scope of services results from the respective offer or contractual agreement. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue content or services at any time.

MedAI focuses on primary care enablement and may provide, among other things:

  • Support with practice acquisitions and transfers;

  • Introduction and succession matchmaking services;

  • Application and candidate management;

  • Provision of digital content via the website.

 

3. No Binding Offer / No Contract Formation

The information on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding offer. Submitting forms (e.g., contact, inquiry, or application forms) does not create a contractual relationship. A contract is formed only upon our explicit written confirmation.

All information is provided without warranty. Changes and errors excepted.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, security, capacity constraints, or events beyond our control may temporarily limit availability.

This Privacy Notice explains how we process personal data when you visit our website, contact us, apply for a role, or engage with us regarding practice acquisitions/transfers. It reflects Swiss data protection law (nFADP) and, where we target or serve individuals in the EEA/UK, the GDPR/UK GDPR.

  • Identification & contact data: name, address, email, phone.

  • Application data: CV/résumé, diplomas, certificates, references, cover letters, interview notes, correspondence, availability, salary expectations.

  • Practice transaction data: details necessary to evaluate an acquisition/transfer opportunity (contact details; high‑level practice information you choose to share). We do not request patient health data via the website.

  • Usage data & technical data: IP address, device/browser details, access timestamps, pages viewed, referring pages, cookies/SDK/local storage identifiers.

  • Communications: content of emails/forms and our responses.

 

2. Purposes and Legal Bases

We process data for the following purposes (legal bases under nFADP/GDPR in parentheses):

  • Responding to inquiries and providing information (legitimate interests; steps prior to a contract; consent where required).

  • Managing applications and recruitment (legitimate interests in hiring; steps prior to a contract; legal obligations; consent—for example, if you agree to be contacted about future roles or to extended retention beyond the default period).

  • Evaluating practice acquisitions/transfers (legitimate interests; steps prior to a contract; legal obligations).

  • Operating, securing, and improving the website (legitimate interests; consent for analytics/marketing cookies where required by law).

  • Compliance and record‑keeping (legal obligations; legitimate interests in establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims).

If we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

 

3. Recipients and International Transfers

We may share personal data with:

  • Service providers (e.g., hosting, applicant‑tracking, analytics) bound by contracts compliant with nFADP/GDPR.

  • Professional advisers (e.g., legal, tax) under confidentiality obligations.

  • Transaction counterparties only where necessary to evaluate a practice transfer and in line with confidentiality safeguards.

  • Authorities where legally required.

Where data is transferred outside Switzerland/EEA/UK, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, and supplementary measures as needed).

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or to comply with legal retention duties.

  • Applications: typically deleted within 6 months after the process ends unless you consent to a longer retention period (e.g., 12–24 months) for future opportunities.

  • Inquiry records: typically 24 months, unless required longer for compliance or dispute purposes.
